Software

PIKT® is Unix/Linux software for system monitoring, configuration management, server and network administration, system security, and many other uses.

PIKT consists of a sophisticated, feature-rich file preprocessor; an innovative scripting language with unique labor-saving features; a flexible, centrally directed process scheduler; a customizing file installer; a collection of powerful command-line extensions; and other useful tools.

Suitable for use with all supported OSes: AIX, Digital UNIX, FreeBSD, GNU/Linux, HP-UX, IRIX, OpenBSD, and Solaris.

PIKT is Open Source software distributed under the GNU GPL (see Licensing).

Open Hand pikt-current.tar.gz, the latest official version (including source code, test suite, sample configuration & documentation; current version is pikt-1.19.0; MD5 checksum: 110134ab2c82f583650777258e66f7c6).

Earlier Versions (note that we don't recommend mixing and matching different versions; for example, use 1.19.0 everywhere, or 1.18.2 everywhere, etc.).
