DESCRIPTION
    returns a user's group id (gid) (as recorded in the system passwd file)
SYNOPSIS
    #pwgid(s)
    #passwdgid(s)

    or:

    #pwgid(i)
    #passwdgid(i)
ARGUMENTS
    s - a quoted string, or string expression, representing a user name

    or:

    i - an integer, greater than or equal to zero, representing a user id (uid)
EXAMPLES
# pikt +C 'output $text(#pwgid("root"))'
0
        rule
                set #pg = #pwgid($inlin)

        rule
                if #pg != %pg
                        output mail "for $inlin, gid has changed, was $text(%pg), is now $text(#pg)"
